Got the third quarter done today. Nice to have that over with! Tomorrow I’ll be all done!!! Can’t wait.

Got my teeth cleaned. Next week I’ll get the last fillings replaced. After that I can probably start over… sigh!

... so now the appointments are Oct. 1, 5, and 6. Just under a month from now I get to check this off my list!

Yesterday I finally bit the bullet, or started to anyway, by calling the dentist’s office and making three appointments. Yep that’s right, three appointments: a teeth cleaning and then two appointments to finally have the last of those fillings replaced. Sept. 23, 24, and 25. Give me strength.

I’m going to do this too. I think there is a link between my ADD symptoms, my tiredness and my amalgam fillings. Not that I’m putting all my eyes in one basket;) I’ve already bought NDF and Liverlife.. Using liverlife right now to prepare my body for the loads of mercury coming free from the removal.
I read a lot about it since it is a pretty serious subject for me. Kind of difficult to figure out what is true and what not. I've read some horror stories about NDF so I hope my body is strong enough to handle it :)There are a lot of crappy products on the market claiming to detox heavy metals.. who knows I’ve just one of them :P
Do you guys used something to bind the mercury so it won’t circulate in your body? Something to recommend?
threedee is back on paleo diet
I am almost ready to call this done. It seems that by eating paleo I am feeling better than ever in last 12 years!
Grains or other carbohydrate rich foods still cause me some problems. I don’t know if it’s just insulin resistance or burnout related carbohydrate “intolerance” that will go away when I recover fully or maybe I really have some issue with grains.
I am also very sensitive to stimulants like caffeine and chocolate. Just one small cup of coffee (say, 2pm) will prevent me from sleeping before midnight. Because of that I am assuming my body is still very much burned out after over a decade of health problems. Both stimulant and carbohydrate sensitivities might still go away once I have recovered more.

It’s now about 10 days after amalgam removal. I have been off paleo diet and trying to see how well my body can handle ordinary “Christmas diet”. So far I have had good and bad days mentally, so removing amalgams wasn’t immediate 100% fix for all my problems (I never believed it would be).
My skin is getting better day by day and that’s positive! Normally Christmas diet (all the sweet stuff & chocolate) would destroy my skin for couple of weeks, but not now :-)
I think it will take months before I can finally say how much removing amalgams has affected my life. I am hoping that my body keeps recovering and after some time I can start adding some “normal” stresses and still keep feeling ok (like eating junk food once in a while or train for a marathon).

12 hours after amalgam removal. I usually wear long sleeved over T-shirt indoors. Now I started feeling a bit too warm, so I had to remove the long sleeved. Placebo?
I quite often test how many pull-ups I can do. Usually when I have mentally good day I also have physically good day. I just broke my pull-up record by 1 and my push-up record by 4!
I REALLY hope this is not just placebo effect. I had only 4 amalgams, so I was quite likely getting not that much mercury. If my problems were caused by mercury it would mean that I was quite sensitive to it and maybe I didn’t have that much build-up in my system (maybe my body could get rid of most of the mercury and so I managed to stay functional). This would also mean that I would react quite soon to removal of mercury load. Hmm…

I did it :) Now I hope the numbness will go away soon so I can get something to eat… (3 hours and counting :-/ )
