I have decided to move to Poland from Denmark because I like the place and people specially one with whom I want to be with… its crazy I know but I am sure I will not regrate in future…
I know I will have lots of problem during my tenure
1. Language… I don’t know any
2. I am Asian… so it will be not like in Denmark no color discrimination..
3. The law and rules are very complicate in Poland so it will be hard to do business…
4… and lots of other I suppose
Do any one can advise me how to make my life easier in Poland… I am little bit nervous an afraid….. anyway I will do this and try to establish my own business over there… and I have a concept and energy…

I guess I should visit Poland first. I’m mostly Polish and I hear all sorts of stories about the place and the culture.
We celebrate Christmas the Polish way (it’s the only time of the year that I really really love eating fish). I want to meet the Polish side of the family very much- only seen them in pictures.

I’m only just back from a nice Holiday in Poland. I spent the bones of 5 weeks there, “What a beautyful Country”. I spent time in Gliwice, Krakow, Bukowina and Zakapana. I think I spelt most of them correctly! :)
I’m thinking of doing a Tefl course and maybe living over there for a year or so next year! It’s all up in the air at the moment.
I enjoyed my time over there and the food for me was quite unusual but I loved most/all of it. Hmmmm alot of things to do between now and then!

Got an address and a job in Warsaw now.
Finally picked up my NIP-3 number today which was probably the most difficult thing to do so far.
Next is to open a bank account and sign up for Polish lessons. But I’m in Poland and I’m living so yay.

Thought I’d best write a dull to-do-list to get myself moving. So slack am I.
-Send NIP-3 form to register with the Polish equivalent of the Inland Revenue. Yick.
-Find a flat. (I know I want to live in Mokotow, just need to find a place).
-Give old clothes to Oxfam. (Hey, I’m a guy, surely I only need 3 t-shirts, 2 trousers and about 6 items of assorted underwear).
-Cancel Direct Debits.
-Organise leaving night. (should be number 1 in the list!!)
-Pack and weigh my stuff.
-Find international shipping company.
-Cancel phone contract.
Is that it?! Ach, what am I winging about. That shouldn’t take long.
Anyone got a flat in Warsaw?
Anyone want to fly my stuff from Glasgow to Warsaw? (And pack it?!)

I was born and raised in Lodz for 10 years, I miss it soooo very much. If you ever get the chance to live in Poland, take it! Its a beautiful country with a rich culture!

Living in Poland was a great surprise. What i remember most are the wonderfull gardens and being able to ride my bicycle in the city and listining to all the music i wanted at almost free cost.
