he turns 25 in exactly one month. seeing as he’s down to half a pack a week (less sometimes, since i bum one off him every now and again), i think this is going to be much easier than either of us anticipated.

we were talking about how he has a little more than a month until he kicks the habit for good, and HE’S the one who’s excited about it. he keeps saying he won’t miss smoking and that he can’t wait to quit. smoking, for him, is all about satisfying his oral fixation, so we’ve been brainstorming new ways to satiate THAT need. :)

he does want to quit, and has been smoking much less since we started dating. and he knows that his birthday marks the last day he’ll be able to suck on cancer sticks.
this does coincide with our adoption of a healthier lifestyle, and i’m really excited to help him with this.
