How I did it: I talked to my landlord about fixing some serious problems around here and my boyfriend moved in!
I fixed up the closets to have more hanging space, so my BF could put his clothes in here. there was so much wasted space before.
My already low rent is going to be even lower now! I feel much safer too with someone else being here which was one of my main problems with staying here before.
Lessons & tips: Look at changing the situation you're already in rather than moving. It may require much less effort.
Be willing to make compromises.
While you are in limbo about moving, get rid of everything you don't need. Clutter may actually be the problem with your current situation, and de-cluttering will help make room for a roommate or make it easier on you when you move.

I’m planning to move end of the month, so that only gives me a couple days left. I didn’t want to make this such a rushed decision, but i do have a good feeling about the house.
It’s in Murray, which isn’t my top choice for a place, but it will be fitting all my needs and will work well at least for a few months.

The house & the room were both beautiful, but I’d have to pay first and last months rent, plus a deposit, which is too much for me to come up with all at once right now. And I’d have to sign a lease. The whole purpose of finding a room for rent rather than just getting a place myself was to avoid all that. I’m only looking to stay somewhere for 6 months, so a lease is out, unless it’s 6 month.
The search continues…

And if that doesn’t work, my fall back plan is to move in with my friend Sarah and her husband. They have a 4 bedroom house, so they said we could turn one of the rooms into an art room/office. That way I could have a separation between work and relaxation. Plus they’d only charge me $250, which would save me money. And they have a dog for Marley to play with. Only draw back? It’s in sandy.

In Jeremy Ranch.
It sounds like a nice house. A little pricy, but i have a good feeling about it.
Beginnings reviewing 43 things
I read a book on visualizing what I wanted in a home and identified my list of everything I wanted in writing. “Write It Down, Make it Happen”.
Sure enough, when I went to find my dream space – it appeared before me – mainly because I knew what I wanted and it was able to show up for me!
I highly recommend this strategy. I have a beautiful, inspirational space that makes me happy, peaceful and full of joy each day to be in it. I encourage you to do this to find your bliss and peace.

So I don’t want a lease/contract. I just want to find someone somewhat normal with a room for rent. Someone with a dog would be ideal so Marley could have someone to keep her company all day. I’ve been checking craiglist. Found a couple that might be good options. It’s always scary doing this sort of thing online, but so far I don’t think there is anyone I know with an available room.
