....be oomplete. I’ve not had any problems with trying to sleep for a long time now and the latest I’ve been awake is around 2am which is OK by me. I find I’m asleep by 1am most nights and even earlier which is great and I hope it stays this way.

....since I’ve fallen back into a bad routine but I’m still going to keep this goal.
I am pretty much asleep by 2am at the latest now-a-days which is what I wanted all along. I have had about two later nights where I’ve been up to around 4am but that’s nothing compared to what my sleeping pattern was earlier in the year.
I am pretty much in bed around midnight now and asleep anywhere from 12:30am till 2am. Tonight it will be anywhere from 12:30am till 2am which is pretty much how it is all the time for me.
I do find when I keep myself busier and am more productive I get more tired than normal and need to lie down and go to sleep sooner so that is the key for getting more sleep or falling asleep earlier.
It seems I am very much ontop of my sleeping and the routine I am sleeping but I am going to keep this goal for a little while and update on it until I am 100% happy with it.

Saturday night I watched a DVD in bed quite late and probably didn’t get to sleep until around 2:30am.
Sunday I was probably asleep by 2am. I’m not 100% sure about the time but it was after 1:30 and I know I wasn’t awake after 2am so I am going for 2am as the time I was asleep by.

Well Thursday I went to bed about 11:30 and I watched most of Scream 2 so I was probably awake until 1am which isn’t too bad so I am happy with that.
Friday night I was asleep a little later, it was going up for 3am but I didn’t have more than 6 hours sleep even though I could of slept longer I made sure I got myself up so I could tire myself out for bed tonight.

I did plan on going to bed about 8:30 but I never got there even though I was very tired. I think I went about midnight in the end which is a good time to go to bed and I was asleep by 12:30 and slept for about 10 hours which is a lot but I was worn out. I think I needed the sleep otherwise I wouldn’t of fallen straight back to sleep after my alarm went off.

Saturday night I was asleep by 1am which is good going, I was tired because of the late night I had on Friday night.
Sunday night I was asleep just before 11:30pm which is very good, I think that’s the earliest in a while and a good time to go to sleep. I had gone up to bed about 10:30 but I listened to my iPod for a little while before settling down to sleep.
Monday night I was asleep by 11pm, I was tired after a workout and was getting up early the next morning for a workout so needed to get to sleep as early as I could and I found because I was worn out from my earlier workout I fell asleep pretty fast.
Tuesday I was asleep by 9:30. I’d been tired since about 7pm and went to listen to my iPod just after 8pm but I found myself falling asleep for a few seconds and waking up (if you know what I mean?) and that went on for about 10 minutes before I got ready for bed and was asleep by 9:30.
So this exercise routine I’m doing at the moment is helping me with my sleep routine. I just wonder what will happen when I stop working out? If I have a couple of days off will my bad routine come back?
I had managed to get to sleep between midnight and 2am without the exercise routine so hopefully the good sleeping routine will continue and get better.

I still haven’t been to bed and it’s after 5am. I just got on the computer and looked at so much and couldn’t drag myself away even though I’d planned on being in bed at around midnight.
So it was going kinda OK but now it’s kinda lapsed into what it was and I don’t like it.
I am my own worse enermy I am sure, I am very tired and yet I have been on the net all morning from around 1am and it’s been boring some of the time and some of the time it hasn’t. Am I ever going to learn to go to bed at the right times?!!
By being on here I’ve broken another goal that I was doing well on so I need to get my act together and try and sort this out once and for all.

Wednesday I fell asleep around 3:30am so that’s not too good. But it’s better than what it was and I wasn’t too tired when I woke up so that’s something.
Thursday I was up until around 5am. I stayed up until 3am watched old videos and then I went to bed and ended up putting a DVD (bad mistake) and then I watched it and it finished after 4:30 and it took me a while to get settled. I let myself sleep a little later today but not too late otherwise I wouldn’t be tired enough for bed this evening.

Well Sunday night I didn’t get to sleep until 3:30am but that is early considering that I’d been going to sleep anytime from 6am-9am for the past 2 months.
Monday night I fell asleep about midnight but then I woke up about 2:30 and couldn’t get back to sleep. One minute I was too hot and then I was too cold and then I couldn’t get comfy and was awake until about 6am. It was driving me round the bend. I eventually got back to sleep but it wasn’t easy!!
Last night I was sat up reading quite late and then listened to my iPod so didn’t get to sleep until after 3am this morning but I’m not quite sure that time after 3am it was because I didn’t check my clock much and the last time I looked it was 3am. I know I was asleep before 4am though.
So my sleep pattern is a lot better than what it was and I’m getting more sleep which is good and I’m getting up at a good time and my life is slowly getting back on track.
There is still a lot of work to be done though but hopefully by the end of this month I will be in a much better sleep routine.

Last Night!!

Last night I managed to get to sleep at around 2:30am which is the earliest I’ve gotten to sleep in over 2 months. The last two weeks I’ve been lucky if I’ve managed to fall to sleep before 7am so to fall asleep at that time was almost a miracle for me.
I decided to watch a film in bed and then turn the TV off and go to sleep. So when the film finished I turned everything off and led down. It took me about ten minutes to fall asleep but then I slept right through until my alarm went off this morning.
I am not saying that my sleep routine is starting to go back to some kind of normalness but it has started to I feel. I normally like to be asleep no later than 2:30 (I go to sleep normally anywhere from 10pm – 2:30am) so to fall asleep at that time was good. I am hoping to carry this on this evening because I’d love nothing more than being able to fall asleep this evening around 1am.
