 "i just went and bleached my hair......it used to be red and all i did was rebleach it and dye it purple....it's so addicting and now i have pink hair!! :)"
How I did it: just bleach your hair if it's dark wash your hair towel dry......and apply the color on then wait for like 45 mins and wash your hair.....dry that hair and there you have it purple hair!!! Lessons & tips: always use gloves :P Resources: manic panic....ultra violet...and hot hot pink you can mix em up |

How I did it: I went and I bought some Manic Panic Violet hair dye from Spencers in the mall, and then I followed the easy to read directions on the box. Took about 30-45 minutes and Voila! Read how I did it…

How I did it: so i have light brown hair with natural dirty blonde, i went to the hairdresser and first he gave me light blonde highlights and then dyed it a magentaish purplpe, so with the highlights it has pinkish streaks! :-) Read how I did it…

there is something so offensive about candy-colored hair. i always thought that if you are going to dye your hair, you might as well dye it some shade that someone luckier doesn’t get naturally. plus it screams “notice me”. and “i don’t give a rat’s ass!”. and anyways. purple is my color.

I tried this but it didn’t stay for me!
I have extremely dark brown hair. I went to the salon and they bleached streaks into my hair and then put the purple (a bluish purple) on top of the bleached streaks. It looked cool at first, but it was realllly hard to see unless I was standing directly in the sun. I loved it though! Then it washed out within a couple of days, leaving me with blonde streaks. Not exactly the look I was going for.
Oh well, I’ll try again next time!

During my youth ive had pretty much every colour under the rainbow [and then some] in my hair.
Purple was always a favourite of mine… and ive totally fallen in love with this colour.

It still rules, though. I get some weird stares from time to time, but most people seems to be pleasantly surprised. Totally worth doing!

I was looking at something or another online the other day and ran across a hair product company called herbatint. They have a PERMANENT dark purple. Has anyone ever tried their dyes?
I really want to order the plum one. I’m sick of all these vegetable dyes that stain everything and dyes from loreal and the like that really just turn my hair auburn.
