How to learn the thriller dance

 "Fun as hell, if you like to dance."
How I did it: Actually, there is a world wide movement called Thrill The World, that organizes an event each year, that is supposed to feature as many people as possible dancing the thriller-dance as the same time. Almost all major cities have someone organizing the local TTW (Thrill The World)-event. Sometimes, it's a bigger event, like in New York, where the organizer got sponsors, everyone dressed up, and they all made a big thing out of it. In Central Park. In my case, I was in Stockholm, Sweden. The organizer was my 14-year-old sister (she's really industrious), but the show-up rate was not high. Only about 10 people showed up. But still, she did a crash course with everyone, showing the routine, and after some practice, we could all do it quite well. Not Michael Jackson-well, but well enough. We had a hell of a time. Some people took it really seriously, others were just there for fun.
Lessons & tips: You have to practice the routine a couple of times, before you can do it well enough for people to recognize what you're actually doing. But it's not really that hard. Resources: Muscles and will-power, I guess, are the primary resources needed. If you can, get in touch with your local TTW-people, they will help you. Just do a google search, or go to www.thrilltheworld.com.

I was in complete shock and still am that Michael Jackson died. The world has lost an amazing, talented person who will never be forgotten. He will live on in music, our hearts, and memories for a long time to come.
In honor of Michael Jackson I’ve put this much higher on my list, and I really do have it as a priority. Plan to have it down by the summer. So here’s hoping I do it.

Of course NO One expected Michael to pass away at such a young age (I seriously thought this man was magic and would just continue to exist forever, lol). My entire family adored this man and now I want to learn the Thriller dance in his honor. And then teach others the dance as well to keep his legacy alive (as if he will ever be forgotten!!). How cool would it be to see a group of belly dancers perform the thriller dance?!
