There’s a running club in my neighborhood called “The East Nasties.” They are in shape.
Run 3-4 miles usually on Wednesdays and super long runs on Sundays.
I’m hoping to soon be able to run with them on Wednesdays. I think I’d embarass myself if I showed up as I am.
So… get fit this month. Join in on the action in October. That’s the goal. 2 years ago

At 28, in a new city, I’m lookin for a team. I love to be active and race around and prance and sweat, even frolic a bit. It’s doubley good when there are fun people partaking.
Making friends, trimming down, occupying my mind, and having fun are the main goals for the venture.
I’ve googled some local teams in Nashville. Several of the intramural leagues are already full…. flag football, kickball, etc.
I’m athletic, but a beginner at most group sports. So I need to find a group of folks who are very user friendly and excited to have people for effort not necessarily ability.
After researching and emailing some organizations, it looks like Ultimate Frisbee is the most likely team.
Never played. But hear it’s a lot of fun, laid back, and a great workout!
So, first step…. sign up.

I’m going to join a “Competitive Computer Programming Team” at my university. And yes, I know its probably the lamest team in existence, but I think it will be fun. I won’t be competing this year, just practicing with them, then maybe next year I will. Wish me luck!! I’m a little worried I may be the only girl there though …. 4 years ago

would like to try doing something with a 43T team, but it can’t just be a random goal I don’t want to achieve – it has to be something I want to do, which I do with a team of other 43Ters. Make sense? 5 years ago

Yay, I joined a team! It’s for drinking 43 types of tea, which is fantastic because it will help me continue my previous goal of drinking more tea :)
Now my profile page will finially have one of those cool “team members” boxes on it! Excellent. 5 years ago

So I’m new to this whole 43 Things thing, and I want to be on a team so bad!! I think I kind of understand what they’re about, I’m just not sure how you join them. Sometimes I’ll see someone is on a team that I really want to join, but there doesn’t seem to be any way to join it.
It’s like an elite club or something, you have to always invite other people. And there are some people who are on tons of teams, each with like 60 members on them! I want to be on a team like that :(
Plus, which goals are good goals to be on a team for? Like huge goals such as ‘become a british citizen’ or little goals like ‘clean my room’?
I have so much to learn. 5 years ago

Goal achieved, and it didn’t take long either.
I didn’t expect to reach this goal so soon, but that’s why I’m not paid to expect anything. Thanks for asking me to join your teams.
More 4400 and veg time for me. Hey, the baby’s with his godmother. I think I’m entitled to be a bum for the day. :D 5 years ago

By “joining a team” I mean something like a sports team. I’m supposed to be a team player at work, but that’s not the kind of team I’m after. I was on a floor hockey team once. That was fun. Maybe a dragon boat team. I wonder what kind of super powers you need to join one of those? 6 years ago
