♥ in England is going to spend tomorrow completing goals!
I thought it’d be so easy to do this when the idea struck me.
It isn’t.
Between work and housework and socialising and, well life in general finding an hour every single day is kinda hard. Which saddens me.
This one is by Jim C Hines and it’s wonderful! If you’ve read his goblin books (Jig rocks), you’ll be curious about this new series. Pick it up and see what you think.
I’m behind on my reading but working on catching up on everything all at once. I have company coming this weekend, so next week will mean no reading time at home, probably.
Once a week I take the latest edition of “The Week” up to read from cover to cover before I go to sleep. I am fascinated by the news lately, and find an appreciation for the national and international highlights this publication provides.
I have both Pride and Prejudice and Doomsday Book going. Both on my goals and both great books!
I go to bed an hour early now (again)... and have several “new” reads that I should have read already, but that’s okay. Currently: Dreams from My Father by Barack Obama.
This book by Cornelia Funke is terrific reading for young and old alike. What a marvelous imagination she has!
Every time I have a day off during the week (which doesn’t happen often, but that’s a good thing), I end up cleaning and taking care of things around here.
This week I’m going to spend it reading. Jim sent me a copy of his book, The Stepsister Scheme, which comes out in January. His stuff is always fun, so I’m looking forward to this!
I read during every lunch break, even if I have to do running during the hour, too, so it’s not always as much time as I’d like. I need to pick another car book, though, and finally the weather has cooled down enough that the glue on the binding won’t melt and make me lose pages. I’ve only got about 15 pages left in the one I’ve got in the car. What’s going to be next?
