Get 8 people to share 8 things that I (probably) didn't know about them

Ever since it came out, I have played and loved the Magic The Gathering game. It is a CCG, one of the 1st to be published back in 1993. I started playing in 1994.

I was agonizing over a blog tagging thing where Lisa Rousseau named me as one of the 8 people at the end of her 2008 inaugural post of getting 8 people to share 8 things about themselves that people probably didn’t know about them, and thought that I’d sidestep things and make it a goal here (as well as writing one of the longest run on sentences that I’ve crafted in quite a while). It’s changing the rules a bit, but I thought that it would be neat to move things from the blog community to this community which is vibrant, vital and inspiring. It’s a place where I love to be and this is a chance to let some other people share in it as well.
So you can take a look at my 8 things, and then, if you don’t mind, could you share 8 things here that people (or maybe just me) probably didn’t know about you.
