make straight A's all through high school

We’re nearing the third marking period and I’ve already received three B’s (two B+’s and a B to be exact) on my report card. :P In the beginning, I was really crazy about being the best student in my graduating class. It was so freaking stressful!
Now, I could care less. The only thing that matters is that I’m trying my best without becoming completely consumed by school work. There are definitely more important things in life than academics. And besides, I’m still making first/second honors. :P

I came out with A/B honor roll my freshman year, and I guess that’s good enough

i worked hard, got a ton of AP’s (which are worth it), but didnt have nearly enough fun. you get one shot at high school, dont screw it up by wasting your time caring about bringing that B up to an A. colleges want to see people that are more interesting. afterall, they are more successful and will give more back as alumni
