How I did it: I have a recipe that I personalized, that make sort of cakey and soft ginger breads for people who aren't big fans of the traditional gingerbread (most of my family) and I also have a good recipe for hard gingerbread that makes good gingerbread houses. I made a very elaborate house this year. :O)

    I made my first batch of gingerbread cookies the other day and I was very very proud of myself. They came out really good. I didn’t have enough molasses, so I used about half molasses and half honey, and they turned out really good. Most of my family liked them more than usual gingerbread cookies. I didn’t decorate them though. That is going to be my next step. :O)
