learn more about astronomy

what a life long pursuit this is

I would like to met someone who knows about astronomy and would be willing to teach me. I want to go to the country and have someone show me all the different constellations.

i got into it for a little while, but it was more out of an interest in the infinite realms of space, so i would just sit out on my beach and marvel at the ocean of infinitum above me…not really caring much about individual stars or planets or nebulae. but now i think i could get into it. hopefully ther are some good observatories around houston.

I woke my son up to watch the lunar eclipse on Saturday night, and it was wonderful.

I just, well last week, joined a local astronomy club. My stepfather knows the president [of the club], but never thought to ask about joining. I cannot wait to receive the observation schedule.

I decided to check out astronomy…. this is probably not for me. I forgot how much science bores me! I will not give up on this yet, but it’s not looking good so far….
