Learn Web Services

... the right way.

This is a personal goal because it’s going to be my job real soon. I love the idea, but the fact that I’ll be designing an enterprise web service is both crazy and exciting.

Looks like I’m going to be playing with SOAP and WSDL files soon… and I only just learned what these were about a week ago!

Java is not tough and I know HTTP well, so I’m not starting from scratch.

I’m sitting here looking at it …. confused like … but that’ll work in my favor I hope. I don’t like to be confused for long ;o)

I’d like to learn to utilize web services and develop applications using RSS, XML, and SOAP.

I’ve been focusing on php and mysql …. but I would LOVE to get java down.

Someone mentioned apache jakarta …. am going to check it out …
