"beautiful!"

How I did it: I went snorkeling in Belize recently and we swam with nurse sharks, manta rays and eagle rays and saw manatees!  They swim very quickly and were unconcerned that we were in there turf. It was safe and amazing.

Lessons & tips: Find a company that is respectful to the animals and does not encourage touching of the marine life or of chemical use to clean goggles...spit works fine, no need to pollute with dish detergent. Have fun!

Resources: Read up ahead of time about any marine life that you might see, you may be even more amazed.

    This wasn’t intentional, maybe if it was I would feel better about it – but I was fifteen and it scared the shit out of me. I would steer you towards dolphins (in the wild, not captive) an amazing experience if you can pull it off, although I was swimming with tiger sharks too – a little unnerving…
