How I did it: After moving out on my own for the first time I noticed how fast plastic bags built up in my apartment. I felt ashamed that I had brought all of that plastic home just to throw away! My mother ended up making me some beautiful cloth bags which I do not go anywhere with out. I ended up giving my embarrassing mound of plastic bags to vendors at the local farmers market (who were glad to get them as they otherwise have to pay for them). If I have to buy anything I always make sure that they know that I don't want a plastic bag.

but sometimes i forget to get my bag and if it is too many stuff to grab with my hands, i accept it. it’s not a good thing to do i know it and believe me, i’m not proud of myself. that’s why i decided that i MUST buy a bag for everyday shopping.
i went grocery shopping with my parents and i brought five reusable bags. everything fit and it didn’t take a million years to bring the groceries in. yay.
I HAVE SO MANY REUSABLE BAGS SO WHY DO I NOT USE THEM????? i am not the primary shopper in my family, so it’s not like i have to carry around nine of them with me for putting groceries in. i don’t even shop that much in general, SO THIS SHOULD BE EASY. but i never think of grabbing the reusable bags when i leave. I MUST REMEMBER NEXT TIME.
