Learn how to use textmate as an IDE

TextMate is wonderful – a great tool for someone like me. I used to use different tools for different tasks – Eclipse for Java, XCode for C, Vim for scripting languages and generic text editing.. TextMate ties it all together with excellent integration. I have no doubt this is worth doing – I haven’t been using TextMate for long and already my old approach feels very clumsy.

Yes, even emacs and Vim.

Sure, it’s true, there’s nothing you can’t do in either of those editors, but what makes TextMate so amazing is the level of integration with its environment that’s trivial in TM but not in the others.

I use TextMate for all my editing needs these days.
