visit LegoLand

Overall my experience was okay. I admit my “not worth it” was a little abrupt. It is a nice park geared toward small children but can be really enjoyable as there are a few thrill rides and just fun rides for anyone. The park has okay theme-ing but is mostly a statue garden park with some tides thrown in. I thought the staff was dumb and demeaning. They treat everyone like a little child. There were so many little brats at the park the day I went that the whole thing was a long headache and I couldn’t leave soon enough. So I blame my experience on circumstance. If the state was different I would have had a better time and maybe give this place a better review.

I know when I will go. I am going June 23 or 24 becuase they are having Star Wars days. You getv a special commemorative brick.

...but there’s not much else worth doing if you’re over ten years old, as most of the rides have height/weight limits that rule out teens and adults. Now, I went in… 1999, I think?, so they might have changed or expanded things since then. (This was to the California park.)

It was fun to see the various building recreations (I took a lot of pictures), so if that’s the main reason you’re going, you might not be disappointed overall. (I have to admit, I was also expecting a more extensive gift shop.)

When my BrickMaster comes I get a free pass to LegoLand, so I will definitely go soon.

Legoland Billund (Billund, Denmark), Legoland Deutschland (Günzburg, Germany) and Legoland California (Carlsbad, California, USA).

They’re all about the same. Should probably stop by the UK and hit the one there, too, just to round out the set.

Went with my wife while we were visiting friends nearby. It was a ton of fun. Relaxing and plenty to look at and experience.

I’m working in Legoland this summer for a whole five weeks. So if you come in the summer you could bump into me… only if you’re lucky though.

It is the duty of every loyal Legoist to make the pilgrimage at least once in their life. At some point I must go to the true Legoland in Billund, Denmark.
