list 43 things I love about my daughter, Nadia

She just goes with the flow. We moved recently, for the first time in her short life. I was so worried about how she would handle it. I’m sure it was a little stressful to be picked up out of the only home you’ve ever known and be thrown into some big new scary house. But she did great. She loves it here, and has so much fun. I don’t think she even really misses our old house! Her ability to just go with it amazes me, and I admire that in her!

She gets jiggy with it. Whenever a song she likes comes on, she starts dancing and waving her arms around. It is so cute! She just cracks me up sometimes.

Today she is playing with her toy dinosaur and calling him her baby. She wrapped him up in a baby blanket and covered him in kisses and rocked him to sleep! It was so cute!!

I love how sweet she is when she doesn’t feel good. I feel so bad for her when she is sick, but I love to cuddle her because she is at her very sweetest! I wish there was something I could do to make her feel better.

I love how excited she is about her birthday tomorrow. (she will be 3) She knows that it will be her birthday, and she is so excited. She is running around the house saying, “I’m gonna be 3!” It’s so cute. She loves birthdays, and the fact that it is finally HER birthday adds to the excitement. The rest of us can’t help but be excited for her. Her energy is contageous!

I love how observant she is. She notices so many things that the rest of us don’t. There is so much in life I would miss out on, if I didn’t have her there to point it all out.

I love when she tells me things that sound so grown up when she says them. Like today when she was looking at Halloween decorations and looked at me and said, “Mommy, I really love Halloween. I really do!” It’s just the way she says it. It’s so cute, and so sweet.

I love it when she waits at the door for her sisters when they get home from school! She gets so excited when they come home! And she will wait behind the door until they open it and jump up on them and tell them both “I MISSSSSSSSED you!” I just think it’s so cute and so sweet!

I love that she is so into Halloween. I took her to the Halloween store today, and she had so much fun. The monsters and ghosts don’t scare her at all, and she just loves to peek around every corner to see what new spooky thing she can find. It’s so cute to see how excited she gets about it all. She was especially excited when she talked me into getting her toy witch’s fingers to wear home.

I love it when she sings to me! It is so sweet and so cute! She doesn’t know all the words, and she is way out of tune, but I think that makes it even better!
