I just realized that I have owned my bed since I was 23. I am now 36. That’s a really long time. But mattress shopping is weird and tough and expensive, so I never felt motivated to move on from my futon, despite boyfriends and pets!
So this year is the year- by April, I am going to have a lovely new bed, complete with a nice mattress and yes a proper frame! 4 months ago

Well I have found a bed I like. It’s one of those types that can be varnished, painted or left as is and the best bit, it’s ridiculously cheap in the New Year sales.. Wooohooo to that!

Bugga part is that it is gonna take about 6 weeks for delivery but, that is all kewls as it means I can take a lil bit of time getting the other things sorted like new bedding, completing the decorating, finding lots of lil pretties that are ‘just so’ hehehehe. 16 months ago
