41. Fit into clothes two sizes smaller than what I wear now. This is a do-able thing if I work hard at it and eat well and get more exercise. It’s not going to be easy but having it as a goal will help a lot.
42. Go to the science museum in Manchester. It will be very interesting and something fun to do. I’d love to go to the one in London but this one is more realistic even though I am going to London I am not sure if I will have time to go there but either way it should be ‘go to the science museum in either Manchester or London’.
43. Complete at least 50 goals on 43 things before 2009.

36. Go for a really long drive to an unplanned destination. I think that would be great, to get in the car and drive without any destination in mind.
37. Get an editing program for my camcorder. I don’t have one at the moment so haven’t been using my camcorder but I know once I have an editing program I’d use my camcorder heaps more than I do now.
38. Go snowboarding. There is a place in Manchester that has an indoor skiining/snowboarding thing (I don’t know what it’s called) so there is somewhere I could go and give it a try out. I’ve always wanted to try it so it’s the perfect opportunity for me.
39. Go climbing indoors. That always looks fun where you get harnessed up and climb up a indoor wall. I really want to give it a go even though it’s probably not easy it could be a lot of fun.
40. Re-learn my 12 times table. I was taught this at school when I was quite young but I now realise that I can’t recite back all of my 12 times table so this is a nice little goal for me to help keep my mind active and of course it’s always very handy knowing your 12 times table.

31. Do a photography course. The OU does one and I really want to do it. The next start date is in March but I need to get the money together in 5 weeks time. It’s £145 and I have £45 so I need £100 but at the moment I am saving up for so much that it’s not going to be easy to get it together in time bit hopefully I will manage it. If I don’t then there is another start date later in the year.
32. Go one full week without drinking any diet coke. I don’t think that will be too easy although at the same time I don’t think it would be too hard. I am trying to cut down anyway so to go a full week without any would be amazing. I know when I got a cold I can’t drink it but I can’t remember if I’ve gone a week without drinking it so it will be interesting to see how I get on with this goal.
33. Give my bedroom a make-over. I need to sort my room out so I want to give it a make-over starting with painting it. Then the ceiling needs re-papering and then I need to get some new pictures and hang them. I also need to get my matching worbdrobe in there that matches my furniture set because the one I have in there now doesn’t match.
34. Get some more light for my bedroom. Right now it’s not light enough so it really needs some more kind of lights, I’d love one od those spot light things which has about three lights on that you can point in different directions, I think one of those would make my room a little lighter.
35. Take 2000 pictures in June. I love taking pictures and the more the better I say when it comes to taking pictures. June is probably going to be the busiest month of the year with three concerts planned, a trip to London and Paris planned so far. I might do more than what it already planned so I want as many pictures as possible to capture what will hopefully be my most enjoyable month of this year.

20. Enrol on a college course to start in September. I have wanted to do something for the last few years so I want to make sure I sign up for something this summer.
21. Get a foot massage. This is something I think I’d enjoy and have wanted to do for a long time now. It will be really relaxing and I feel it’s something I’d want to have again and again.
22. Wear heals more often. I tend to wear flats a lot and when I do wear heals it’s only for a short time until it starts to burn. Because I am not used to heals they burn a lot more than they should be so I need to get used to wearing them by wearing them around the house and short outings so I can get used to them and start wearing them a lot more.
23. Get my eyes tested and get some new glasses. I’m due for my 2 year check up now and badly need some new glasses anyway so I need to get my eyes tested a.s.a.p.
24. Find out if I can get contact lenses and get them if I can afford them. I couldn’t have them before because they didn’t make them for the condition I have but they have been making them for around the past two years so I want to have a contact lense eye test and find out if I can have them. If I can I’m hoping I can afford them and get them.
25. Sort out my pictures into picture frames and put them up.
26. Get some new pictures for the house. The pictures I have now are a little dull and it would be nice to get some nice, new and interesting pictures for the house. It will improve the house and make the room/s look different without even having to re-decorate.
27. Go on a 3 hour walk somewhere. It would be nice to go on a long walk and take some nice pictures of the scenary. I’ve not walked for longer than 90 minutes so to go on a much longer walk would be amazing and with some luck I’d be able to take some amazing pictures also.
28. Make a film over the year showing my year. Film bits here and there over the course of the year and at the end of the year edit it together and make a nice film dipicting my year.
29. Drive to Coventry to see my friend Pete. I’ve never been to Coventry to see Pete but he drives up here a few times a week so it’s about time that I went to visit him.
30. See 5 concerts!! I love my concerts and would love to see so many different artists but of course I can’t see everyone but I hope to see at least 5 concerts this year although I’d love to see a lot more.

13. Write a song and the music to go with it. I used to write lyrics years ago and I’ve not done it for so long so it would be amazing to write a song and write some music to go with it. Even if no one ever hears it, it would just be a really cool thing for me to do.
14. Buy a keyboard so I can finally have lessons. I have wanted to have lessons for a long time now and it’s pointless me having any when I don’t have a keyboard to practice on so I need to get one as soon as I can so I can have lessons.
15. Go rollerskaing at least twice. I have the skates but nowhere I can go so I need to find somewhere and go skating because I loved doing it when I was younger and I feel it will do me the world of good to get out on my skates and have some fun.
16. Decorate my living room. It’s not been done in so long and I’m sick of looking at the wallpaper that is up because it doesn’t look good anymore. I feel it will make the room look heaps more better hvaing it decorated so this is something I need to do this year.
17. Go horse riding. I used to do this when I was younger, I went about ten times and loved it but we couldn’t afford it in the end so I had to stop. It would be amazing to have some lessons this summer and give it a go again to see if I still enjoy it.
18. Go on a beach somewhere nice and hot. I’ve never been on a beach in another country so that’s something I want to do this year.
19. Go to a dentists. I need to have my teeth seen to, there is something I’ve been putting off so I need to find myself a dentist and get in one as soon as I can.

7. Go iceskating at least 3 times. I’ve wanted to go ice skating for as long as I can remember now but I am scared of going on the ice and falling and badly hurting myself so in a way that fear keeps me off the ice but I want to overcome that fear and go iceskating. I’d love to have lessons too but I think I need to go at least 3 times to see if it is or isn’t for me.
8. Run 3 races. I haven’t done a race before and even didn’t like running when I was younger so right now I am trying to get fitter and doing run/walking. So my goal from that is to do three races this year. I already have a 5K and a 11K planned for this summer so now all I need is one more race to complete the 3 races.
9. Get my ears pierced again. I’ve had my ears pierced since I was 6 and then had a second hole slightly higher up when I was 15 to then let it heal up accidently. I then had it re-done again when I was 18 and my earring ended up going in the hole and the skin healed over it and I had to have it pushed out which was agony. So ever since then I’ve wanted it doing again and I’m not at all scared about it so I’m going to have it done this year.
10. Make at least one new friend who lives locally. I don’t know many people in my local area so I’d love to make at least one good friend in my town this year.
11. Get contact lenses. I’ve wanted them for as long as I can remember and have a condition were there weren’t any available but now there is so I think it is the year for me getting them if I can.
12. Go to at least 3 other countries this year. Last year was the first time I’ve ever left the UK because I didn’t own a passport. I’ve wanted to go to so many different places over the years so now I have a passport I want to start to go to these places. I’d love to spend my birthday in New York this year as well as going to Dublin for a weekend and visiting my friend in Denmark. I’d also love to go to Spain or Greece and maybe somewhere else if at all possible.

4. Do a duathlon. I have wanted to do one for a little while and have found a local one in June that comprises of a 5K race followed by a 20k bike ride ending with another 5k race. It’s for charity so that makes it perfect for me. It’s 14 weeks away which isn’t as long as I would ideally need to get fit enough but I am planning on riding three times a week and walk/running three times a week.
5. Get my nails done. I’ve never had them done before and I’ve wanted them done but they cost £25 which is a lot of money seen as they need doing every 3-4 weeks. I can grow my nails but they don’t grow too long before they start to break, I am also lazy when it comes to them and only trim them and shape them once. So having my nails done would be perfect for me so I’m going to give it a try. My friend has done courses and can do acrylic nails and does them for other people and charges half what it costs in a salon so I’m getting her to do mine next week.
6. Finally get frames for my certficates. I got one in 2004, 2005 and 2007 and I’ve been meaning to put these university certificates up since but I haven’t gotten around to getting frames for them so I’m going to make sure I finally get some frames so I can have my certificates up showing what I have achieved so far.

1. Get my full driving license. To get that I need to have some ‘top up’ driving lessons and then take my test. I have been looking for an instructor and I’m iching to get this goal out of the way so I can finally drive on my own.
2. Buy a car. I know what car I want to get and that’s a VW Golf but I want a brand new one and I can’t afford one and I think my first car shouldn’t be a new car so I will be getting a second hand car and hope to have one by summer.
3. Lose 30lbs. I have started the goal of losing 20lbs and as soon as I have lost 20lbs I will add the goal of losing 10lbs. I am more determined than ever to do this and now my health is almost as it should be it will help with losing weight because it’s while being ill that I put on lots of weight.

Finally finished my list and I’m pleased with the results. A mix of major goals and trivial goals, as well as complicated goals and trivial goals. Hopefully I’ll be about to finish most if not all of this goals in the upcoming year.
