make a list of 13 people who've had an influence on my life (good or bad) in the 25 years I've been alive

13. Torvil and Dean. It is really hard to explain why I have T&D in my list here but I will try and explain in some way why.
I love Ice Dancing and these two are just pure amazing and I love everything they have done so far in their careers and now watching them every week for 4 months of the year is just great and seeing them perform on tour is just wonderful too.
They inspire me so much in so many ways and they are just a good and healthy influence on me and my life and why I can’t really word but I know why and I guess that will have to be a good enough explantion.

12. Caroline B. She is a good influence on me. I’ve known her for well over 2 years now and she has been a good influence of bringing me out of my shell a little more and showing me you can be who you are regardless of what people think about me. She has helped me grow so much as a person and I love having her in my life as a friend.

11. Lynds R. She went to school with me but we never really talked. In May this year we kinda bumped into each other online and chatted now and then until about three months ago when we started to chat daily more and more. I can open up to her about things and she can open up to me about things, she is great at giving advice and a great ear.
She is so funny and is something or someone I would like to be more like. She is basically the person I’d love to be. She is everything I’ve always wanted to be personality and confidence wise and she has been a good influence in the fact I can look at her and see so much of me wanting to be like who she is and I know I can be the person I’ve always wanted to be and I am slowly getting there.
She is such a nice person and a good friend and is such a good influence n me.

10. Claire Street.
She was a girl I went to school with for 2 years but had such a big influence on my life. We went to school together from the age of about 8-10 and she was one of the closest friends I ever had. We were actually banned from sitting together in class because of how stupid we would get. On my last day she was allowed to come and sit with me and it was such an emotional day for me, I said she shouldn’t sit next to me and I am glad she was allowed to. It was such a hard day for me, I’d left many schools before from moving around but this was so different. It was like leaving a piece of me behind because Claire was like the other piece of me and who I was then. We’d been through very similar times in our lives and coming together was like fate.
I ended up losing contact with her and that was hard. I think about her every few months and I’d love to have her in my life again or at least find out what she is up to now. I am hoping one day she will come on FaceBook and we will be able to talk. I am in contact with a couple of people from the school Claire and I went to and I am hoping they can shed some light on where she might be now.
I hope she is doing well in life and is OK. I kinda expect her to have at least 2 children now but who knows what her life has brought. I can’t wait to find out. I just hope she remembers me and wants to talk to me again because it has been 15 years since we last saw one another.

9. Steps!!
I was so much into this band from 1997 until 2002 when they split up.
They were great fun and came out with some great music and great live shows. Sadly I never got to see them live but I live in hope that they will one day reform like Take That have done, it would be so amazing if they did.
Maybe I am a little old for their music now but I was really into them and loved their music because you could dance and sing to it… It’s made me want to listen to them so I am going to put them on now.

8. Hanson.
I was really into them from the age of 13. I thought they were wonderful and owned their album and bought all their singles as well as videos and books. I loved watching them and wanted to be a drummer like Zac and eventually got a drum kit. They showed me that family matters as they are very much into their family vaules. Their music was good and they were nice individuals who mades some really good music.

7. The Spice Girls!! Yeah the Spice Girls hahaha. Well when they first came out I was about 13 and I loved them and were heavily into them until I was about 15 or 16. I believe in them and the message they were bringing about Girl Power. All in all they were a good influence in my life.

6. Pete E – he is one of my closest friends and will always be a good influence on me. He has been there a lot for me and helped me out and when I am stressed he makes me laugh. He’s been great for me!!

5. Carl W – an ex boyfriend was certainly a bad influence on me for a little while. He is a little crazy and drinks a lot and smokes non stop and there was a time when I was 21 when I would drink a lot like him but after a week I had to stop it to make sure he didn’t get himself in trouble when he drank. Needless to say he was bad in my life and I’m better out without him in it.

4. Mel C from School. Was a bad influence on me back then. She would encourage me to do things I should do but that was then and of course we have grown up and she recently got back in touch with me and we talk again about about 8 years so it’s good to have her in my life and she is still a lot like she was but she won’t be a bad influence on me again.
