Write my Spring syllabi

They’re both done and turned in to my boss, and I’m fairly satisfied with the result. Now comes the hard part—planning what it is I’d like to do in each of my classes.

Today I made some progress on the syllabus writing. I’ve now got a rough sketch of the stuff I’d like to cover this semester. I also scheduled three sessions with the information literacy librarian that I think my students will find helpful in writing their research papers. All I have left to do is fill in my rough sketch, but I think that might be the most difficult of all.

Classes start on Jan 14 and one of my syllabi is due on this Tuesday. How much do I have written? Not a whole heck of a lot. I need to stop watching Gilmore Girls and fooling around on 43 Things and get to work.

At least my British literature syllabus is almost done. I’ve just got a couple of days left to fill in on that one.
