Only wear clothes and shoes that make me feel fabulous

I just read in someone’s 43t: If I were found dead, would I like to be found wearing this? It made me laugh and think. It’s a good way to decide about the clothes we wear, even underwear. Sometimes we wear old underwear, because – well – it´s under our clothes and nobody will see it. But what if you die?

Today I am wearing a chocolate brown, sleeveless, satin top with small white polka dots on it, jeans, a black cardigan and dark brown, square toed shoes that make me 2 inch taller.

...I have been rocking out on this goal.
I can’t believe I’ve been so constant on something that is so integrated into my life… like, every shopping trip, every change of dress… I end up thinking about this. And it makes me feel good to act on this goal; Makes me feel like less of a misfit.

today i felt like i had walked out of a magazine ;P

that out of my entire suitcase, lugging around stuff to six or more countries over a period of two months, the LEAST useful thing is 1 pair of high heels ... but I’ve already worn them twice and felt BEAUTIFUL : )

maybe one day in Milan.
Milan is a fashion-obsessed-city.
I walked its streets yesterday after putting on makeup and doing my hair for the first time in a month, and the city seemed much friendlier once I fit its prescripts.

bought a new “old” sweater today for only 5 pounds 50.

restraining, restraining, often want to buy everything in sight… but am trying very hard to remember this goal.

bought a $2 red & white top that looks kindof asian from a charity shop in Perth last week and it looks really good!

also bought a $2 top in Montreal last month that turned out to be a winner… maybe i should stick to the $2 range… it seems to be workin’ for me.

two new gorgeous pairs of shoes…
breaking one pair in so far.
a few blisters
a few bandaids
but so worth it

got some compliments on the new tank top… so worth it! i must have guessed right. this little baby is gonna last me throughout the summer.

that looks great and flattering on me, rather than two or more for the same price that i would have felt ‘frumpy’ and depressed in.

almost bought a new pair of jeans, but ran out of time even though the sales girl was so nice and helpful… i’ll go back tomorrow : )
