become a famous artist

I want to be an historically famous artist. Not just anther pretty picture in the crowd.

i want my expressions in the world of art to send me far in his life.

i dont want to be famous, by selling self-out, and just roll with the others followers, corrupted by society, the spirits are talkin,, shut-up and listen. – o v i tt a K

Since I was a small child, I’ve always been compelled to draw and paint. Everyone knew I was going to grow up to be an artist. In my early 20s, after college, everything slowed down when I got married. My focus and energy changed. After my divorce 14 years later, I got antsy to create again, but felt hopelessly “blocked” and afraid. That block has lifted and I’m having fun rediscovering different mediums and techniques. I’m 48 and feel a bit depressed that most of my life was wasted regarding art, but I refuse to ever stop again. I really, really want to support myself with my art. I don’t yet have an audience but I hold out hope.

I want to become famous for portraits.

I draw portraits. I paint portraits. This is what I do. I’ve had so much pain in my life. Now I’m 40. My parents were wrong.

They were wrong.

I know this is what I was put here for. Whether or not I’m famous. Ha.

I love to draw, and I have a webcomic. I feel the crazy urge to shout from mountaintops, “I am me!” and being famous would just make more people hear my ragged self-expression. I need, need need to be a famous artist. I need to!!! It’s tearing me apart!! YAAHH!!! I have quite a few readers already, and it’s so intoxicating that I need more! THE WORLD!

i replied to an ad, that wanted latin artist artwork for a movie.
I hope I get it…

I’d like to be known as an artist that makes outstanding pixel art on mspaint and then blows them up into gigantic posters.
