I did it for a while, and since found the challenges already in front of me. I’m working on those now…

the challenge has stagnated and others are too busy for it now. If some want to try again in the future I’d be willing to give it a go again.
I’ve had ideas for an art challenge of a differant type for a while. Basically I put out a container for people to put anything into and I find a way to use the donated item in an art project.
But that requires studio space and some kind of regular visitors or traffic going by. I’ll try and figure out a way to make it work sometime.

Loosely bound under oaken cover
holding stories of ages past.
Ever turning over new,
as seasons cross,
and the world comes full circle.
Read by light of sun and moon,
the etchings upon them sing,
of things before me,
and things long since turned to dust.
Bards all in the sacred grove,
marking time and memories.
Loosely bound under oaken cover.

I have to admit that I have done little in the wy of my entry for leaves. I did manage to get my five scripts in one month worked out, though the word total was reached some need more to bring them to closure.
Then it was down time for a few weeks and some time to reconnect with my life. I’m trying to get back into the swing of things again. and as part of that I hope to have my entry for leaves done by the end of the weekend.
I’m not sure what I’m doing, though the idea of doing visual art appeals the use of poetry is more in line with challenging myself to try something new. maybe something of each, I don’t know.

All right I gave poetry and the concept of borders a try last night.
I started with this:
Under a Torii/ unsure which way I should turn/ lost on the border. (an american haiku, about the doorways between this world and the spiritual realms in shinto shrines)
it’s nice but a little esoteric, so I decided to give another style a shot, I’m not super happy with it but It’s okay, I like the kaiku better:
Here I stand
upon the borderland
neither one place or the other
Oh yay, oh yay the wheel turns once more
Before me lies tomorrow
bhind my I lay my sorrow
Looking to the future for new things to discover
Oh hey, oh hey, the wheel turns once more
Hour glass out of sand
Earths bounties we do but borrow
Moving forward from one year to another.
Oh day, Oh day, when the wheel turns no more.
as for a new topic I’ve pondered some and for some reason the idea of Leaves really stands out. So I guess that is my choice. I had something else that I was going to use to help me brainstorm a bit about something else but Leaves keeps coming up again, so Lets go with that.

as proposed by some others on here. I’m not sure where others are in this. Is there a project theme running right now and if so whens the start and stop?
anybody still doing this?
