Got Papi? (Papacito) is headed back to Microsoft! :D
This is ongoing and I am truly enjoying this goal.
But I’m going to take it off my list as “done”.

I’ve started coaching with Lolo Little League and I love it.
It’s so much fun.
I’m making a concerted effort to learn the kids names. So far, we’ve had 6 kids at practice and I can name each one. When I talk to them, I address them by name.
I very much appreciate the very strict “no taunting” policy of the league. I was looking for that, but I’m surprised at just how strict their policy is. But it’s great.
I can’t wait to practice with the entire team. So far we’ve only had 4 kids at a time because of spring break.

The local Little League director says he will likely have a coaching spot for me in the minors (ages 8-10).
I’m pretty stoked about this. :D

I have my resume and references in with the local Babe Ruth League.
Hope they give me a coaching position. :D
Would be outstanding to coach Babe Ruth League because I had a real life-shaping experience playing Babe Ruth Baseball.
One concern I have is that some leagues / parents might have a mis-guided bias against coaches that don’t have children playing in the league. (Why are they there? Are they predators?)
In my experience with youth sports, the best coaches I have had were non-parent coaches.
Many of the parent coaches I have had would come to practice stinking of alcohol. Or worse yet, actually BRING alcohol to practice.
