Complete 2 Personal/Prof Development Courses

It’s not a course exactly, but a high performing group coaching group. 3 of us hired a coach and we’ve worked through personal and professional visions of what we want to do (next) and how to craft the careers and lives we want.

Now I’m working on creating a Mastermind group with another friend, Siddiq. That I’m hoping will be about a 6 month project.

I’d like to focus on public speaking skills next I think. I will check out online resources.

I didn’t complete MEAD fully, but am happy with what I did. I wasn’t as into it as I’d hoped, it was too Dartmouth focused. I did get some good nuggets out of it though. I may finish it this year. I did also start a deep listening skills online course through Facebook that I am liking alot. I took a break this summer since I was traveling abroad, but am looking forward to getting back on track with it.

finished CPR/First Aid re-certification this evening.
Need to work on my MEAD training modules
and 2nd half of Digital Photog starts up in May!

I have signed up for a Managing Project Resources and Microsoft Project Level I.

I signed up for a refresher on the Go! Systems productivity training that I took in the fall. I am excited, I liked the class alot.

Signed up for this 6 month management training class. free to dartmouth staff.

Taking an intro to digital photography class. first class was in december, small (3 students, 1 instructor). so far i like it though i haven’t done the homework!

A friend set me up with a chance to take a Go Systems personal organization course. It was helpful in that the trainer didn’t promise anything magical. It gave me some ideas of how to organize myself and life and a bit of a boost. I need to follow up and read that book that came with the system.
Don’t check e-mail first thing each day in office (do “to do” list first) and try to stay on top of my voice mails are my two main goals!

Other classes I’d like to take: CPR/1st Aid, Coaching, Toastmasters, Project management certification, maybe crisis training of some kind?
