work on the Elvis chair

This was a chair that was for a good friend of mine, who is a huge Elvis fan. I found some material of Elvis and the Jail House Rock theme in bright neon colors with Elvis in his black pants and jail house shirt, some time ago. This weekend I finally loaded up the chair, with my paints and upholstery cushions and we spent last night working on it together.
We ended up painting it black and upholstering the seat. He decided that instead of adding the other colors to it, that he preferred it just black, so it turned out ok, nothing bright and wild, like I expected, but he liked it and is going to use it for his computer desk. We also had enough remaining material that he’s going to put in a frame above his computer, next to his one of a kind black and white photo of Elvis himself…lucky boy!
