Want to take a class on silver jewelry making
I have other hobbies to spend time on – this would probably be too large of an investment to get started on anyway.
Maybe later.

My gramma taught me when I was young. It’s fun to be creative and have unique jewelry, but it can get a little eh. Now, if I could just figure out how to make a giant diamond ring…
My parents own a jewelry store and maybe you can say that I am a bit biased due to the many unpleasant memories I had but my dad taught me and I hated it so much. Maybe it was because of his teaching style but its also dangerous due to the fumes u inhale and the risk of burning yourself not to mention burning down the house LOL
IF you really want to do it, then go ahead but if you are moderately interested, DON’T BOTHER.
oomellyoo the sky is the limit
I learned a long time ago..but I really want to re-learn. I have so much jewelry, beads, and all the stuff that goes a long with making jewelry!! UGH. DO THIS> This shall be my OTHER creative outlet! hopefully!
There are loads of resources on the web, your local craft shop might even have free demonstrations or classes. I liked making jewellery so much that I opened my own bead shop. It can be addicting!
I am from San Francisco, need 2 find a place 2 learn but don’t know where. help.
I took my first jewelry making class at a local adult education course at a High School in January 2007. Look around where you live, many adult education courses are offered in the evening at High Schools.
Since then I have created my own pieces and have even sold them! It is pretty exciting to make something and to have someone else LOVE it! I even made a Mystic Rainbow Topaz Pendant that is going to be feature this FAll in Step by Step Wire Magazine!
I got my How-to book in the mail from Amazon today. I can’t wait to start, it looks so fun! I’m going to try making Celtic-themed wire and beaded jewelry. So far I’ve only bought one of the 6 or 7 tools I’ll need but I think I’m off to a pretty good start.
