How I did it: I signed up at www.kiva.org and then went out to do the loan a few days later. The loans get funded really quickly and by the time I had decided who I wanted to help the loan was already funded, LOL! Once my loan gets repaid I think I will forward a gift certificate to someone else so they can give. Read how I did it…

Narguile My Day is Coming Someday!
I went to the website and registered myself so that I can find out about who I want to give a loan to. It’s very exciting!!
So before you complete this goal, join our team so we can see what a huge difference we can make together!
Meas Sophary, 28, is the mother of two children and resides with her husband in Phnom Penh. Both have obs to support their family. Meas is employed by a garment factory and her husband, Vong Saran, is a driver in a company. Collectively they earn about $8 each day. Even though they both have a job, they sometimes still face financial crisis. The inflation rate in Cambodia is currently out of control so it’s hard for the low or average income makers to handle their standard of living each day. The prices of goods are extremely expensive, even rice and gasoline.
Some people have to seek another source of income in order to sustain their living. Mrs. Sophary and her husband are trying to seek another source of income by requesting a loan from KIVA to purchase a motor-bike for her husband to operate a motor-taxi when he is available from his work. This will provide their family with an additional source of income. In the future, they plan to set up a coffee shop.
