build my dvd collection

so, definitely making some progress with this one—thanks to super late night trips to walmart’s $5 bins. it’s kinda nice because the movies that they have for $5 at wally’s are just movies that we used to watch in our teens, so, yes, we’re not really all that up to date on our new movies besides seeing them in theatres, but we’re catching up on our old favorites. my favorite find so far was a two-fer, Ghostbusters 1 and 2 with a booklet thingy for $9. LOVE IT! and we realize that for the $25 we’d spend for a brand-new just out movie, we could find 5 really cool old movies, for the same price (and if we’re really lucky, the double-deals like Ghostbusters!).

I’ve moved out and it’s time to stop mooching off my family’s small DVD collection. My collection has grown about 8 DVDs since christmas. I recieved lady and the tramp, amelie, and twister for christmas. Afterwards I bought the mighty ducks trilogy, high fidelity, and disney’s robin hood with my christmas money. overall I have about 20 DVDS of my own, and a few I might steal from my family when they aren’t looking, but I have a huge list of movies I need to buy. I better get working on that I guess. Goodbye money…
