When I’m at the age of 16 (next year), I’d get straight into achieving my learners then, trying to achieve my license.
How I did it: While I'd earned my full Indonesian driver's licence over eight years ago, it took me 10years and 136days to earn my Australian (specifically Queensland) learner's licence. Anyhow, I read the road-rules PDF, cram studied overnight (I did the online test ~30 times,) rocked-up, paid-up and got 30/30.
Lessons & tips: Just do it! It's painless and it shouldn't take anybody ten years to get it done :p

Queensland Transport Practice exam.

Nervous & Excited yeah..

I always say that whenever I have vacation time that I’m going to look at the book… but I never get around to it and then I feel so disappointed with myself.
well, i got the book today!
now i just have to study it and book the test.
i can’t book the test till i’ve done all the immigration
stuff though..gah, i hate not being a citizen here!
Ok, so technically, I should have done this over a year ago. Buy hey – better late than never!
Yay, easier than I thought. The test was quite simple and I only got two wrong. I was the first one to get there learners today! Dad also took me for a driving lesson.
I still haven’t made an appointment to get my learners yet, I’ve been busier than I expected since semester finished. I’m going to try and make an appointment before the end of next week, but I suppose that depends on whether they can fit me in or not. To be honest, once again my interest in learning to drive has waned again and it’s not a priority for me at the moment. But that’s just me being selfish, I know it’s something I have to/should do.
So! Tomorrow, call up and make an appointment for the test!
