It just looks so beautiful! Cold, yes, but beautiful.
I was looking at some of the package trips a couple of weeks back, just for fun. I’d love to do the weekend which combines learning to drive a husky sledge with one night at the ice hotel.
Then I looked at the price. Its not cheap! if I want to do this, it will cost me somewhere in the region of £1,200+ if I go by myself. For 4 days.
But it would be a once in the lifetime experience.
It is definately way out of my price range for 2007/2008 but, I’m going to save hard and if I can afford it, I’ll go in 2009.

From 8th of December 2006 to 30th of April 2007, the Ice Hotel is open for business.

As this relies on, well, ice – you can only stay during the winter – so I’ll have to wait ‘til next year I think – gives me time to save up at least.
