atinygoat is so terribly exhausted.
I’ve been stuck indoors the last week or so, and have been plowing through my stack of magazines.
Gone are almost all of my Glamour and Cosmos, and all of my Domino issues.
A few more to go, and I will be done with this one.
And I have a feeling that since we are moving into cold weather, and many of my time-consuming demands are slowing down, I will be able to keep up with them.

I like Real Simple. I do feel like I could find all of the informations contained in each issue on the internet, but there is something about the feel of the pages and the weight of the overall magazine. I like it.
Anyway, I walked away from this issue with some relaxation and what sounds like a tasty recipe for pumpkin cupcakes with cream cheese frosting.

Aside from an article about how to stretch beauty products or otherwise save money on one’s beauty routine, this issue was a waste of paper and time.
Cosmo is another magazine that I am not sure why I am getting (guilty pleasure, I guess) and will not be renewing when my subscription is up.

I cannot remember why I subscribed to this magazine.. sure glossy pages with pretty pictures. No real substance. All the more reason to not renew whenever the subscription is up.
I only sat and “read” this cover to cover because I am sitting here at my mom’s for the night and am rather bored.

but, that easily gets pushed to the side when life gets busy.
Of the magazines I subscribe to (Real Simple, Glamour, Cosmo) I really only get useful information out of Real Simple.
Once I am done reading all of these, I will re-home them.. Real Simples go to dazzle if she wants them, the rest go to Craigslist. This has been a process I have repeated many times in my life.
Because two of the magazines I subscribe to are pure fluff (or trash, really), I will likely fail to renew my subscriptions when they are up. Real Simple is useful though, so I will likely continue with that next year too.
Not perfect, but I did accomplish a lot. I just received a new issue of Art News yesterday, so I need to keep up!
As of today I’m giving myself until the end of October to complete this, otherwise I won’t renew my subscription to Art News.
