Got a glass juice pitcher thing. Snazzy. Though it has a plastic top… oops.

Still on the hunt for a good ceramic/ steel butter dish and compost bucket.

would also love to find a kettle that wasn’t plastic, ethier electric or stovetop… anyone seen one??

Yesterday I removed a yucky plastic toothbrush holder – got a steel one.

next I am going to discover just how shocking the manufacture of steel is. But at least it lasts a long time and holds some value for recycling etc? I think?

Still need to replace plastic butter dish, plastic composting bucket, and other ratty pieces of crap from my life.

Josh is working on ceramic and hardwood floors all week!

Plastic sucks  — 7 months ago

Basically plastic sucks! It is not really recycleable, for the most part, it harbours endocrine disruptors and other toxins, and isn’t built to last.

I want to get rid of things like my plastic serving ladle. For a start.
