Show Garfield the sights in my town to help carpe_diem_for_me's Class!

Here we are at a golf course near Rehoboth Beach. It’s one of my favorite spots. It’s well-known for it’s landscaping. We thought they might like it too :)

He went to Dover (our state capital) yesterday! We visited the Capitol building and the Archeology Museum.

He just arrived and we have big plans. I think I’m going to take him to the boardwalk tomorrow :)

has fun things during the summer. This particular park, Hoyt Farm has a sprinkler water park, playground and animals for the kids. Of course ball fields too. I took Garfield along.

I chose a collage of photos as I took so many.
First he visited me at work. I showed him the in’s and outs of the service and warranty department for the yachts. He got his brain so full he insisted on taking a nap in the trunk of my co-worker’s Mustang. After his nap he was ready to explore the boats, the harbor which leads to Long Island Sound and the catch some rays.
Then I took him to my husbands job at Briarcliffe College in Bethpage. His admissions rep tried to get Garfield to enroll in some classes. However, once he saw the cost of tuition, he decided to major in napping.
(that’s my son in the picture BTW.
Then we were off to Jones Beach National Park for an ice cream thank you at Friendly’s hosted by the Crohn’s and Colitis Foundation. Garfield loved the beach. However, he is not a very good listener as he insisted on sitting on the rails.

sweat was dripping from scalp. We had to stop at Ralph’s Ice’s and share some blue hawaii ices.

I forgot to bring him the birthday party I went to but I think I have more adventures in store for next weekend.
