send random notes of happiness to random people

I’ve become very bad at keeping in touch with old friends and relatives, largely because I’m very bad at keeping track of addresses and phone numbers, so I would like to thoroughly update my address book, keep it handy at all times and every so often just dash off a quick note or a card to someone that I randomly choose from my address book just to say hello. I’ll save my email for important business correspondence, but for friends and family, I want to make it more personal again.
