 How I did it: My boyfriend's manager is tight with a pub downtown. I guess word got around that the entire flames hockey team was heading down for some post-season drinking. Luckily, word only got around a few people. So even though they aren't technically famous I guess, I still think they are lol. Anyways, I got a picture with Jarome Iginla and I got autographs from a lot of the players. Lessons & tips: Don't be needy. It will just make you look stupid. |

How I did it: I'm a huge hockey fan and my friend was on the Blackhawks website and saw that they had an open practice that we could go to on a day we didn't have school. I’m a huge huge fan of the Rocky Horror Show, so I went into Melbourne and saw the stage play.. 5 times.. Haha, I completely fell in love with the main actor, iOTA, who plays Franknfurter. So, everytime, after the show, I tried to make it to the stage door to meet him. & for the last time I went, I met him! I was speechless! If you really are a fan of someone, its completely worth trying to meet them and thank them for their work! It’s such an awesome feeling :-)
Well, the closest i’ve got to meeting celeb so far is sort of accidently stumbling upon the ‘mamma mia’ premiere in melbourne and having meryl streep and colin firth walk right in front of me (they didn’t even shake my hand though!)
There’s this guy who comes into my work a lot these days and he looks/sounds/acts exactly the same way as hugh grant!
but, it’s not actually hugh grant, so what am i rattling on about…

She may not be famous to some, but to me she is because she created my favorite makeup ever, Bare Minerals :D I remember meeting her back in 2002 when I worked for a beautiful resort at a spa. She was visiting, and I just about fell down when I saw her… I grabbed my purse and pulled out my bare minerals makeup to show her that I was an avid fan of her line!! She got all excited and we got into a fun discussion about the cosmetics. Later, she had her son deliver a bunch of free products to me :D She was such a sweet lady and it was a pleasure to meet her!
