How I did it: I was only young so they weren't amazing drawings. but there is a trick to it, i spent my whole summer holidays with huge thick HOW TO books from my local library.. started by copying the ready made ones and then moved on to making my own. Its endless fun, if you like drawing, I spent hours and hours making characters and story-lines/bios. Read how I did it…

I only started really getting down to my drawing about three weeks ago. Some one chided me into drawing an image when i said i had no talent for it and she flipped when i drew something. So maybe I do have talent and didn’t know it? Only time and lots of practice will tell! I find outside opinions Really help when it comes to improveing, both good and bad. :D

Well ive wanted to do this for a really long time. So shortly before Christmas i was shopping for gifts and decided it was time to get myself an instruction book. So i got myself a little Christmas present lol. I dunno how much time im gonna have to draw since the new semester starts in three days, but i drew my first character. it turned out horrible, but room for improvement is always necessary. if you are extremely bored and are reading this you can look at it XD. http://indyelmo.deviantart.com/art/Elani-108362244

i like drawing manga… but now.. i’d like to be a kinda ’’professional’’ in that….
i like drawing people…but i dn’t like to make them appear as they are….i like to add things n to create new things..! :)

I just find drawing manga too difficult. Instead of drawing manga, I have decided to carry on drawing my dolphins. My dolphins are eccentric! They are so good and therefore I am not needing to learn the hard techniques of manga drawing.

I have been drawing since as far as I can remember, and I found out about anime when I was 12. I have no amazing talents, but I am currently 14 and perfectly happy with the way I am going. I have been influenced by many manga-kas and doujinshi artists, but I still want to improve more.
I am perfectly happy to help anyone else, however I cannot say I am perfect at it. My best advice to anyone is practice, practice, practice! Sound familiar? Well it truly does ones art wonders, and copying also helps (as long as you don’t trace) even though it seems like cheating, as long as you show reference to the original artist if you post it anywhere it should be accepted.
(The manga page I am showing was done in one night, and with the mouse so it’s a little bit below my usual standards.)

that i have a closet addiction to the art in anime and manga. i have no artistic talent but it would be really amazing if i was able to learn to draw in this style. so i am gonna try.

art is good for the soul, but you know manga. . .probably the best form of art I’ve ever come across. I didn’t actually have this on my goal list, since I wasn’t that interested in it since I was here last (like 6 months ago) which is weird because I’ve been an anime freak since I was like three years old. I defiantly need to put some manga related goals up though.
