Learn more about Jazz and Blues

I just borrowed The Jazz Scene (written by Mr. Eric Hobsbawm) from my college’s library and I’ve read it until page 40. I always liked his books but this one seems even more interesing because I already like jazz.

I’ve always liked it, but I have no knowledge whatsoever and I think it is important if I want to put some aspects of it into my work. I may even learn about less famous artists and improve my band.

I borrowed a Nora Jones CD from the Library. It is great, so I downloaded every song I could find, of hers. I didn’t find one I didn’t like. Also some Diana Krall. Jazz I like. Now I’ll have to search for blues.
