make some wooden peg dolls

I will make some so nicely that I can give them as a Mother’s Day gift to my man’s mother, who enjoys hanging clothes out to dry old school on a clothesline.

I’ve started finding a few of these around the house. My daughter discovered them while going through my stationary drawer (forbidden territory for her).

I’d known that she’d been in there before I’d even found them. Them black permanent marker drawing all over the back of her hand that she proudly showed me was a bit of a give away. ;-P

Now that she’s found them I fear that they’ll all slowly disappear for good. Not a bad thing really as I was making them for her to play with, and she loves them a lot, just the way that they are.

This is as far as I’ve gotten so far. I’ve become distracted by other goals….........I’ll get back to these soon.

Hope to start painting them tonight, although my little one lept me up until 4.30am & we didn’t get any midday nap today, due to my little one splitting her lip open & us being at the hospital to have it looked at. How do you explain to a two year old that they can’t remove the dressing, or else it’ll mean stitches. Aaaarrrgggghhh!

Looked at it for a long time, thinking about what sort of designs. Then pout them away again. Need to take care of at least items number 1, 21 & 22 before I get to play with this one.

And bought myself some wooden pegs. Now to find that bit of energy to start playing around with ideas.

Hmmmm…..think I really need to start putting number 19 very soon….....

I’d like to try making some new things and stretch my creative thinking muscles a little. need to start getting away from the computer in the evenings and back into creative play.
