We took 9 days, starting and ending at the Ipsut Creek campground. This was the first week of September 2002. My knees didn’t appreciate all the down-hills, but the adventure was worth it none-the-less. If I did it again, I’d go in mid August when the flowers are blooming more. The entire trail is spectacular; we never had a boring day.

It takes about 3 weeks to do the entire trail. A fun and challenging goal for me!

I spent a week on this trail in 2004 and didn’t complete it. The week before was perfect weather, however, there was a ton of rain when I was there. Next time I’ll bring more rain gear! Also, I underestimated the time needed to hike from camp to camp.
