How I did it: Well getting a job helped me wake up earlier. I knew i had to get out of bed at a certain time. I went to bed at around the same time everyday n there were days that i'd just get up in the morning without an alarm. You need to find something meaningful u have to do, n u will wake up in the morning to do this thing. It can be attending classes or work. Read how I did it…

How I did it: The main thing was getting to bed sooner, spending less time on the net late at night, and jumping out of bed when I wake up, rather than going back to sleep. Using your extra morning time is the best incentive to keep doing it - today I was at the gym before 7, which felt great. Read how I did it…
How I did it: I got a new job, one that requires me to clock in at 5 am... and my ride clocks in at 4. Which means I now wake up eight hours earlier than I used to.My advice: be careful what you wish for. You just might get it, in the most uncomfortable way possible... Read how I did it…
How I did it: A new job helped me out big time with this, having a set schedule from 6:30 - 3pm Monday - Friday. Then my second help was my daughter who doesnt sleep late at all. I'm not at that job anymore, but now my son is in school and I wake up at 6:30 to get him ready for school so I've had some pushes getting use to this. BUT its great to enjoy the whole day and not feel like day by day is passing you by. Read how I did it…

Day 2 – Was super stressed this morning. I would really like to use this to motivate me out of bed instead to staying curled up for that extra 5, 10, 15, 20, 25, 30, 35 minutes. In that extra 35 minutes I could listen to some music while leisurely making breakfast and drinking my coffee. And maybe read something.

Even though I get up at a reasonable to time to make it to class, when I set my alarm for earlier in the morning I am too disoriented to get up. I wake up in a panic, confused about what is going on. Then every morning, I shut off the alarm and go back to sleep. I wish there was a way to remember in the morning what I was getting up so early for so I won’t become so disoriented. Anyone have any ideas?
Hi everyone,
I have been trying to get up at 5am but never succeed. And the reason is because the first thing I ask myself when the alarm go off is what am I gonna do when I wake up.. it’s 5am..still dark outside and I haven’t really make a plan what to do when I wake up. Now that I have a plan (exercising, breakfast and reading a book)I will try one more time.. and hopefully will make it. In the other hand If I can’t wake up at 5am my roommate will wake me up at 7am right before he go to work. Good luck to everyone else on this.

I am so good at sleeping. i can snooze for hours. But i also love the creativity that happens in the mornings when i do manage to get out of bed. So the aim is to get up earlier. I am going to start getting up at 6.30 for one morning a week and cut down snooze time for the others. I like the thought of getting up, doing yoga, having breakfast and then starting to write….....say no to snooze!

Since my change in diet I have felt much better. I think what is holding me back from completing this goal is figuring out what to occupy my time with. I’m devising a list of hobbies and activities that I could do in the wee hours of the morning:
clean
write novel/play
knit/croquet
read
pilates
stretch
cook
