we’re gathering all of our NJPA submission material, which has just been throwing a little more insanity into the usual mix.
but! while i was asking about who should submit stuff to each category, my ME told me that there was a graduation story i wrote in june that fits the “freshest treatment of a tired topic” category and that he thinks it’s an article i definitely should submit.
i’m really excited about this, because anything even remotely resembling a compliment from my ME is pretty hard to get, and i came up with the article idea on my own, which i was proud of then and am even prouder of now.
and i’d REALLY like to have a chance to win something in this bloody contest. i’ve been submitting stuff to the NJPA since i was a junior in college, and i’ve never even received an honorable mention. though that COULD be because i throw all my stories together half an hour before deadline every week.
