Gonna check out lessons this weekend (after finally getting my dad off his ass) and then hope that it wont cost to much. I love drums, everything about it. I like guitar but i would rather move my whole body when i am playing an instrument, not just my fingers. Kinda like when i dance i guess lol
I’ve played drums ever since third grade. I’ve been playing hardcore stuff and emo stuff and jazz, blues, and lots of stuff for jam bands. I strill thijnk i have a career waiting for me. I’m actually getting a premier xpk 5 pc. drum set and i’ve done lots of research and i think it’s a really good drum set. I’ve also been looking for a drum set for hardcore stuff cuz I’m in a band with my friends.
I learnt to drum at school when I was about 13. I got up to Grade IV Guildhall for percussion and taught myself how to play a kit. Up until leaving Uni I played in bands and shows. I loved it. Even now I get told off for not being able to keep still when there’s music playing. However adult stuff e.g. work and lack of practice space meant I stopped playing. Now at 36 the need to get back behind the kit is growing stronger and stronger. It’s time I did something about it.
eee! enrolled in drumming class up here (who even knew there were drums in buttfuck? oops, there goes the no swearing thing!), starts in a couple of weeks and have even convinced some people i wanted to be chums with but couldn’t work out how to get in with to come. all good
I was captian of my drum line in High school and it is the BEST memories I have. I can’t remember what drunkin weekend I hooked up with a random Senior, I remember the trips, and the drum off and the music and the noise and the FUN! I would do it over and over and over again. and remember the DrumLine are NOT the band dorks! lol
I wanted to take drum lessons this summer? Can anyone help? I’m from Manila…
Thanks!
