live in the mountains

At some point after college, I’m doing this, whatever it takes, I’ll make it happen. I live in Colorado now, but I want to actually reside in a mountain town for at least a year, work a restaurant, and snowboard and mountain bike ALL THE TIME!

I want to live in the mountains where I can see everywhere. Where I am not surrounded by society and cities. I want to experience nature
peacefully. I want to see snow for the first time. I want to see landscapes of forest, mountains , flowers , animals. I dream of looking at the stars in the clear night sky.

I want to live in the mountains.

I lived in upstate NY, which is not TERRIBLY mountainous, but it’s considerably more attractive than central Florida. I’m planning a move, and I need to be somewhere near mountains.

I want to live in a cozy house in the mountains, surrounded by acres of pine trees, in a place where it snows a few feet in the winter and easily escape to a nearby lake in the summers. I want to love coming home here, and feel like there is no where else I would rather be than this place with my family and friends.

I would love to live in the mountains so I did not have to travel to far to gather pictures for my website.

i put pine straw in my flower beds yesterday and it reminded me of my goal to live in the mountains some day….silly, but I somehow feel one step closer!

Have 4 years to think about where I want to eventually settle down since I begin pharmacy school in the fall…won’t be moving til that’s done. Anyway – husband and I both love mountains, but i think he’s starting to really feel pulled towards moving back to florida (his home town) now that his best friend moved back there with his family. UGH! I really don’t want to move there…it’s so stifling there (and I’m not just talking about the heat) but i do understand why he’d want to move back there…he’s pretty close with his family and his best friend has been a great friend to him since they were kids – what’s more important than that? He says he’s not sure about Florida right now…but I see my mountain dreams starting to fade. we’ll see
