Wow, looking at that picture reminds me of how far I’ve come on this goal. I’ll post new when I can.
1) Get rid of ugly concrete walkway – DONE!
2) Add new curving stone or brick walkway and stoop – DONE!
3) Raise and extend planting area and cover up hideous foundation – DONE!
4) Add window boxes -DONE!
5) Add a water feature – not done, but removed from list. Don’t need anything else requiring maintenance, and have a beautiful bird bath instead. :)
6) Add lighting – DONE! Original goal was intricate lighting throughout walkway and planting area, but a new light fixture by door looks great and serves the purpose.
7) Include decorative features in walkway – inlaid copper or glass, maybe inlaid lighting – HAHAHA! Overkill! Instead, I have beautiful decorative features in the planting area. Plus, the installer laid the pavers in a beautiful pattern. (Hirsch Brick and Stone)
8) New garage door (done!)
