I liked neither the process nor the result. I also didn’t like the fact that in the end my hands looked just the same as the hands of the woman sitting next to me. It felt like a “mannequin factory” moment.

How I did it: I never had my nails done before, so this was all new to me. I thought it would take forever for the nail people to do my nails and it wouldn't be worth it because it'd chip off easily. But I was sooo wrong. One weekend, I decided to go to a nail salon. They did my nails and out I went. It was so nice. My nails looks so pretty and I felt girly for a change! |

I’ve never stepped foot into an establishment to get my nails done, let alone French manicured of all things. I know girls that get their nails done, but figured it isn’t my thing. But it does look kind of cool and it’s something every girl should try at least once if just to feel pampered I suppose.
...that and I fail on a momentous level to paint my own nails properly…

Something I’ve wanted to do forever and while styding for my exams I decided I would treat myself and have one (and I wanted to do my first 43 things as well !!) My oppointment was 9:00 this morning and I was the first client. All my fears of awkward silences and “uncomftoble” invading of personal space where pointless, it was relaxing and fun having a “girly chat”! The end result is beautiful and they feel really comftorable! I’m soooo having more in the future!! I <3 French manicures!!!

I love getting my nails done. I feel so pretty afterwards. It’s such a simple thing, but I feel great after I do it.
