being a feminist is in my opinion an active goal
and I don’t think I am going to be an activist for the rights of women although I think feminist
So I give up on that goal

do you have more than one job? I think this is becoming very common for women today to support their families and lifestyle choices. I think this is a feminist issue because women today earn less then men (75 cents to the $1) so the pressure to make more money is a factor. Also, if these women are heading up households with children, how is this impacting our lives? Although this article is specific to Minnesota I think it is a good example of issues that women face…comment on the website if you agree! http://www.womenspress.com/main.asp?SectionID=1&SubSectionID=1&ArticleID=2455

well, it isn’t difficult to “be” a feminist. Because most people are and if a person has an interest in gender issues, they most likely are. My more defined goal is so be a more effective and connection making feminist. I want to meet more people, make a bigger impact, and further progressive vaules.

I want to empower others to make the world better for themselves and others. Hmmm…how to do that…..

Choices 3 years ago

No one has posted an entry for this goal. I shall be the first. I want to embrace choices for women. Any choice is an important one. If you choose to be a stay at home mother, I’m all for you! I’m for anyone to have the right to CHOOSE what they want to do with their life. FORCING someone into a position is wrong.

Also, my goal for this summer—to read more by Elizabeth Wurtzel. She is amazing and has had an amazing impact on my life. Have you read any of her books?
